Better Breathing

A group for senior people with breathing difficulties and their supporters. Every Tuesday 10:30am - 11:45am at Ōrauwhata Bishopdale Community Centre Hall. Each session is 45 minutes of exercise, followed by tea/coffee and a chat. $4 per session. The group welcomes anyone who is interested in doing exercises regularly and enjoys meeting people.

Canterbury Charity Hospital

The Canterbury Charity Hospital was established by a trust in 2004 to provide free elective day surgery and medical outpatient clinics. Clients include those in our Canterbury community who can’t access these services because they don’t qualify for the public health waiting list, don’t have medical insurance and don’t have any other means of covering the cost of their treatment. The hospital also provides dentistry for WINZ clients only through referral from their dentist.
